We are all formerly feral here at The Lounge. Humans need to get us spayed and neutered!

Domino sends purrs from the sunny patio where we’ve been hanging out all morning. After seven years, he finally allows and loves petting and vigorous massage. He is the feral poster kitty for never say never or it’s never too late to be loved and to have a home.

Fingers and paws are crossed for Domino letting go of the remainder of his feral ways this winter, Layla.

We always celebrate Feral cat Day in our household – why? because Sam was a feral kitten brought to the local shelter 12 years ago where we quickly adopted him and took him home. He has a lot of feral ways but is also quite a “lap cat”. Domino is one of OUR favorite ferals too and reading that he’s getting used to slipping inside Layla’s house once in a while is a fantastic sign that he just might be considering an especially snuggily winter!

I didn’t realize Sam was a feral kitten – how lucky was he that you adopted him, Pam!

Domino is one of our favorites too. We are thrilled that he is getting a little tamer. It is always so exciting when the feral cats finally let you pat them. It is one of the most gratifying things in life.
Take care and have a wonderful Sunday.

Isn’t it exciting that Domino is starting to come around, Marg? I hope you’re having a terrific Sunday, too.
