I almost declined when I first received the pitch to review a toy called KittyWhip. It just seemed like such an awful name for a cat toy. but once I took a look at the toys, I decided to accept – and I’m so pleased I did.

Perfect timing. I was looking for an interactive cat toy to entertain my sweeties. The scores of balls, chase toys, catnip fish, spinning things and other itemsthey have all over the house was boring them. now I have to decide which whip to buy!

One thing I look for in a cat toy is if I can make noise with it somehow. A lot of our play time is just the cat watching or listening to the prey. I think I’ll get the Kitty Whip with the leather, I’ll be able to make different noises with it.

I bought the leather one when you recommended these before and my cat Ren loves our playtime every night with this interactive toy. It is hands down his favorite. So…I purchased the sisal one for Christmas for him so we’ll see how he likes it. It sounds like that may be the least favorite but every cat is different so I hope he likes it. now I’m wondering if I should order the cotton one as well. As you said, these are so well made and the leather one I have had for awhile is proof as it looks brand new. thank you for letting us know about these.

Since you first made us aware of the Kittywhip, I’ve purchased three for our home and bought several for friends. These are terrific toys! We have the leather and the cotton version. My kitties like both, but I prefer the cotton. They are all very durable, and a terrific idea for Christmas for you and for friends! thanks for the recommendation, Ingrid.

Which one does Allegra like the most? In your review you show the leather one. Does she like the sisal too? I am trying to decide which Lulu would like the most. We have had her 3 years and she hasn’t experienced Christmas yet because we have always been so broke to buy gifts for anyone. We don’t have much this year either, but I want to do something for her and the other girls.

She likes the leather one best, followed by the cotton one. For some reason she wasn’t all that keen on the sisal one.
