Hello, class! Today I would like to talk about a yucky subject: fleas. even though fleas are not a pleasurable topic, if you want to get rid of fleas, you need to understand their sneaky tactics.
The first devious technique of fleas: even indoor cats can get them! Fleas can hitch a ride into your home on your mommy or dad’s shoes, socks or pant legs. They can also get into your home through an open door or window, and because they are tiny, you cannot even arrest them for trespassing!
You might think that the only problem is the fleas you see running through your fur, but you would be incorrect. Those difficult fleas spend only about 5% of their life-cycle as adult fleas actually on us. By the time you see fleas, there are already flea eggs, flea larvae and flea pupae in your home. AAAIIEEEEE!
Fleas lay eggs on us, and the eggs drop off into carpeting and on our bedding… every place we go! The eggs then turn into flea larvae. then the larvae turn into pupae, and here is the really difficult part: the cocoon is resistant to insecticides. This indicates that even if you treat your home with a spray or fogger, the cocoon survives.
If you don’t treat your home, those dastardly fleas will hatch and then jump ideal back on you!
To best control fleas, we must use a flea prevention product every month. use a room spray or fogger to get rid of those pests in your home. Then, re-spray your home in 2-3 weeks to catch the real sneaky ones hatching from the cocoon. Fleas are sneaky, but we can outsmart them!
