Last weekend, we upended Leo’s life by moving into a new apartment, as well as he was, understandably, NOT pleased about it. The days I took him over after work as well as on Saturday, he was thrilled to check out the location as well as sniff every crevice as well as corner. However, after the preliminary enjoyment used off, he was clearly stressed out as well as wouldn’t unwind up until we went house for the night.
On Sunday, the day we moved our huge furniture (bed, couch etc.), I dropped Leo off at day camp, partly so he wouldn’t be in the method as well as potentially get hurt, however likewise to keep him occupied as well as make sure he’s as well exhausted to tension when we brought him to his new house for his very first night.
His very first night went extremely well. At first, he was reluctant to go into his crate (something he’s refrained from doing because he was about 3 months old), however after a bit coaxing as well as additional treats, he went in. practically seconds later he was unwinded as well as on his method to falling asleep for the night. The next day when we got house from work we grabbed a ball, took him to the canine park in our community, as well as played fetch up until the sun went down.
Since the very first two nights, Leo is completely comfortable in as well as around our new place. He is much much more thrilled to get house from work as well as likes to stretch out on the great floors (we had carpet in our old place).
